This week we are continuing our series, How to be Happy in Tribulation. We are looking at seven mindsets that will enable us to walk in joy while overcoming tribulation.
The fourth of these mindsets is humility. Humility is recognizing we are not able to bring about God’s plan in our own strength but must depend on Him. One of the characteristics of humility is patience.
Patience allows us to live for God’s glory and when we faithfully serve and trust Him for our success, we become rising stars rather than shooting stars. We become people who are properly trained, developed and tested so that when God’s timing comes, we can receive His anointing.
Remembering who we serve is vital – not ourselves, but God.
