Think About The Future

Hi everyone!

You may have noticed over the last couple of weeks that we've had no blog, no email and barely any social media presence. We wanted to give our team have had a two week vacation. We hope you understand that it's important, even in the service of the Lord, to take some time off to rest, spend time with family and allow God to minister to us in a different environment outside of 'work'. And a quick testimony from that time: our worship leader's two kids got born again while on that vacation. So, I'd say it was worth it, wouldn't you church? Amen!

Our home churches have been operating as normal and have had some wonderful Easter celebrations around the world. But, our emails and blogs, our social media presence etc. is all back now so do see any eye out for all that good teaching and encouragement in your inbox, your browser and your social media channels. And please do share anything that blesses you. We want to get the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible and you can help us do that. Share, like, subscribe, even donate if you feel led, to help us spread the Gospel. And now for today's blog.

Today we live in some pretty troubling time sir. Pretty uncertain times, unprecedented times in many ways and people are concerned. They're concerned about the direction of the world, they're concerned about the direction of their own lives and really many people are anxious about the future. You know, the Bible tells us a lot about the future for the believer in Jesus Christ, that person who has has trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour and confessed Him as Lord has been born again. For that person, and I hope that's you, right? I trust that that's you! If you have never made Jesus your saviour and Lord, I want you to know that you can, you can be saved, you can be born again today! You could receive God's free gift of eternal life right now, today and all you have to do is call on the name of the Lord. The Bible says, in Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Let me ask you, do you believe that Jesus died for your sin, that God raised Him from the dead and that He's alive now and forevermore? If you do, why not make Him your Lord and Saviour and confess it out of your mouth. If you give your heart to Him and do those things, you'll be born again. Just like I was 45 years ago, you'll be set free and filled with God's spirit and given the gift of eternal life. How awesome is that?! If you do that today, would you let us know? We'd sure love to send you some materials and pray for you and just rejoice with all of heaven that you made that decision, the best decision you'll ever make, today!

We're in a series called End Time Prophecy Revealed and we believe it's super important. Because for the believer in Jesus Christ, end time prophecy actually is subject that gives us great hope. It should cause hope and joy to arise in your heart. It tells us that we are assured of great things things. So great, so awesome, so wonderful that they can't even be fully imagined.

God has rescued us through Jesus Christ, and provided us with a future that is literally beyond our dreams. We cannot even dream of how amazing and good it's going to be. And that future is available to everybody.

God wants us to be looking ahead to the time which is to come, specifically the kingdom of God. Does a pregnant woman focus on her current state and say, oh boy, I love this being pregnant, it's so awesome!? No! She's looking forward to the day when she's going to hold her brand-new baby in her arms and have that child. And that's how we need to be. We need to be looking forward to that day when Jesus comes, and we are, in a sense, fully in his arms, raised and resurrected from the dead. Amen. Praise God.

Until next week, may you know God's blessings richly in your life.
