This week in our current series, Restoring Foundations, we are discovering the biblical truth about 5 fundamental realities that affect every aspect of our lives. This week, we are continuing to look at Reality #2, God Created the Universe in Six Days.
The complexity of living things, especially human beings, defies the possibility that we came into existence by chance. There is substantial scientific proof of an intelligent designer—that the God of the Universe created all things. When we consider that matter on its own cannot produce thought or consciousness and disorder does not become order without intelligent input, it only adds to this proof. It is impossible that we came about by a random explosion in space.
DNA is a powerful source of evidence showing the amazing complexity of creation. The fact that DNA (the blueprint of all living things) has more information in a molecule than 100 terabytes of computer code has kept scientists baffled at the intricacies of life. Most great scientists through the ages have believed in God and marveled at the evidence of His handiwork. Invite your neighbor to church this week as we continue to restore the foundations that are evident in the Word of God.
